Nan never intended on becoming a stylist, but in 1991 she wanted to move to Minneapolis. The only choice she was given was to enroll in a school, so she chose the Aveda Institute.  Nan’s free time is spent with her family and attending as many music concerts she can. One of her most proud accomplishments is when she and Carmen purchased the building that Salon Capelli is in now. Most people would never guess how many different types of jobs Nan has had, from working at Target to running the Birthday party room in Mc Donald’s. Doing hair was the last thing Nan thought she would end up doing much less owning a whole salon.

Carmen’s free time is spent outside in her garden, green house or out hiking in the woods.  At first glance, you would never guess that Carmen knows how to operate a lot of different types of heavy equipment.
